Austin Adventure

Recently I took a weekend adventure to Austin, Texas and it was filled with inspiration.

I loved the metal detailing on the railing on the walk way at Lady Bird Lake.
Such a beautiful little accent to an object people use everyday.

Check out the view from the Zilker Park side of the trail.
That is downtown Austin and the South Congress Bridge

I loved this outdoor bar/ venue, they had tons of live music going on at night!

Think Global

44 days, 18 flights and 11 countries. Sounds amazing right?

Rick Mereki, Andrew Lees and Tim White took their adventure and captured it on film for STA Travel Australia. These videos really caught my eye and got me thinking of all the places I want to visit and how much you learn about yourself when you travel. I am planning my next adventure!

Definitely watch these in full screen view.

What is your favorite part of these films? I absolutely love when he is blowing glass and walking through the field of tall reeds.

An LA Adventure

This past weekend I took a little trip to LA to visit my mom. It was a great and sunshine filled 2 days!

It started off by visiting the new Terminal 2 at SFO. I have to say it lived up to the hype I had been hearing for months. Quite an awesome airport terminal.
While waiting for my flight I enjoyed a little $7 wine tasting at Vino Volo.

I loved the little notes that came underneath each glass that give you a description the wines.
This one was my favorite.

Once in LA I enjoyed a really great brunch with my momma at Lola's. Amazing blueberry pancakes with a few chocolate chips sprinkled in. Fruit with mint, yum. And to top it off an amazing cappuccino!

A trip to a nearby flea market left me in awe of these beaded chairs.
The red chair design is amazing!
Can you imagine hand placing each of those beads?

I can't wait for my next visit!
